AP Dhillon was born on 10 January 1995 and his birthplace is Gurdaspur, Punjab, India.
He did his schooling at Little Flower Convent Sr. Sec School, Gurdaspur, and completed his graduation in Business Management from Camosun College Lansdowne Campus, British Columbia, Canada.
AP Dhillon’s real name is Amritpal Singh Dhillon.
Career
Dhillon started his career in 2019 with singles “Fake” and “Faraar”.
In 2020, he came out with his single ”Deadly”, which entered UK Asian chart and peaked at number 11 & entered the top 5 on the UK Punjabi chart.
In June 2020, he collaborated with Gurinder Gill and Manni Sandhu for the single ”Majhail”, which topped both the UK Asian and Punjabi chart.
On Sep 18, 2020, he released ”Brown Munde” along with Gurinder Gill, and Shinda Kahlon. The video also featured other Punjabi artists like Nav, Money Musik, Sidhu Moose Wala, Anmol Dalwani, and Steel Banglez.
Brown Munde’s song topped worldwide charts such as New Zealand Music Charts, and UK Punjabi charts entered Billboard charts and remained there for more than two weeks.
This song charted #76 globally, #1 on Spotify India, no #1 on Apple Music charts, and #5th on Radio Chart.
AP released his debut EP ”Not By Chance” in December 2020, which peaked at #63 on Canadian Albums Chart.
In 2021, he released his second EP ”Hidden Gems” on November 21, 2021.
After that, AP Dhillon along with Gill & Kahlon performed a live concert for the first time as part of the ”Over The Top – The Takeover Tour” across 06 major cities in India.
