Babbal Rai is a Punjabi singer, lyricist, and actor associated with Punjabi Music and Flim Industry. He was born on 03 March 1985 and her birthplace is Samrala, Ludhiana, Punjab. Her height is about 5′ 6”. He did his schooling at National Public Sen. Sec. School, Samrala, and completed his graduation from DAV College, Chandigarh. His father’s name is Manjit Singh Rai and his mother’s name is Nirmal Kaur.

In 2007, he went to Melbourne for studying further and enrolled himself in the course of Community welfare, and did all odd jobs to survive.
After a few years, he uploaded his singing video on his birthday, named ”Australian Challa” which made him a YouTube sensation.
Babbal Rai made his debut with the album ”Saau Putt” which too brought him into the limelight in the Punjabi music industry and his song ”Nikki Jehi Jind” from the album was a huge hit.
In 2012 he released his single track ”Sohni” by speed records and the song was an instant hit followed by the song Taur and Tere Naam.
Babbal Rai sang his first playback song for Jimmy Shergill’s Punjabi film Rangeelay (2013).
His multi-starter project for 9X Tashan ”Kudi Tu Pataka” was released the following year and was highly acclaimed by the audience.
He started his film career with a special guest appearance in the Punjabi Film ”Singh vs Kaur” in 2013 starring Gippy Grewal and Surveen Chawla.
In 2014 he featured in his debut film ”Mr and Mrs 420” along with Jassie Gill, Yuvraj Hans, Binnu Dhillon, and Jaswinder Bhalla, and appeared in a dual-role cameo, a first in the Punjabi film industry.
In 2014 he released his second album ”Girlfriend” under the label Speed Records in which the tracks like Yaarian, Tere Layi, Tuttian, Jattan da Munda were a huge success.
In March 2015, he released his single track ”Youngster Returns” featuring Punjabi singer Jassi Gill.
