Bhagwant Mann is a Punjabi Actor, Comedian, Poet, and Politician. He is best known for his comedy show like Jugnu Haazir Hai, Jugnu Mast Mast, Kulfi Garma Garam. Bhagwant Maan is a two-time Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha for the Sangrur constituency in Punjab. He was chosen as the Chief Minister of Punjab candidate from the Aam Aadmi Party for the 2022 Punjab Legislative Assembly election.
Bhagwant Mann was born on 17 October 1973 and his birthplace is Satoj village of Sangrur district, Punjab, India.
Mann was born in a Jat Sikh family to father Mohinder Singh and mother Harpal Kaur.
He pursued his graduation from Shaheed Udham Singh Government College, Sunam.
Mann used to participate in youth comedy festivals and inter-college competitions.
He won two gold medals at a competition at the Punjabi University, Patiala for the Shaheed Udham Singh Government College.
He got married to Smt. Inderpreet Kaur and the couple have two children but later they both get separated in 2015.
Maan also has an NGO named ”Lok Lehar Foundation” which helps children with physical deformities.
His first comedy album was ”Kulfi Garma Garam” with Jagtar Jaggi in 1993.
Bhagwant and Jagtar Jaggi were considered the most successful comedy duo of the 1990s.
Mann developed comedy routines about typical Indian issues such as politics, business, and sport.
Together, they made a television program called ‘Jugnu Kehnda Hai’ for Alpha ETC Punjabi.
After working for 10 years, Maan parted ways with Jaggi and formed a new partnership with Rana Ranbir.
After that, Both worked together on ‘Jugnu Mast Mast’ for Alpha ETC Punjabi, which also became a hit.
In 2006, Mann and Jaggi reunited and toured Canada and England with their show, No Life With Wife.
