Hobby Dhaliwal was born in 1977 and his birthplace is Village Chaprouda, Sangrur, Punjab.
His father’s name is Balvir Singh Dhaliwal and his mother’s name is Surinder Kaur.
He did his schooling at Govt. Model School, Nabha, Patiala, and completed his graduation from Government Mohindra College, Patiala.
Dhaliwal was married in 1989 to Lilli Dhaliwal, who is a fashion designer. The couple had two children – Jay Singh (Son) and Suhab Kaur (Daughter).
Career
Hobby Dhaliwal was recognized by Punjabi singer Pammi Bai during college functions and later shared stages with him.
In 2004, he moved to Canada along with his family but did not like western culture and he returned back to India.
He has released three albums Mar Jangeero Geda, Sade Pind Na Avi, and Jatt Warga Yaar before entering the Punjabi Cinema.
Dhaliwal worked in the Punjabi serial ”Aag De Kalire” in 2007.
His role of MLA Dayal Singh in the Punjabi serial ”Aag De Kalire” was highly loved by the audience.
In 2012, he made his first debut in the Punjabi movie ”Burrraahh” and later in ‘Fer Mamla Gadbad Gadbad’ & ‘Heer & Hero’ (2013).
