Personal Life
Parmish was born on 03 July 1990 and his birthplace is Village Dadhera, Patiala, Punjab, India.
He did his schooling at Yadavindra Public School, Patiala, and a diploma in hotel management from Sydney, Australia.
His father’s name is Dr. Satish Verma (professor) and his Mother’s name is Paramjit Verma (professor) and his brother’s name is Sukhan Verma.
Career
Parmish started his career as a director with the short story video ”Zimmewari Bhukh Te Doori” which was about an adolescent boy based on the life of Verma where he described the hard time which he faced while living in Australia.
He won the ”Best Music Video Director” awards for Thokda Reha and Gallan Mithiyan songs at PTC Punjabi Music Awards 2016.
In 2017, he debuts his first song as a singer ”Le Chakk Main Aa Gya” by Juke Dock Label.
Verma debuted as a lead role in movies ”Rocky Mental” in 2017 and later worked in movies like Singham, Dil Diyan Gallan, and most recently Jinde Meriye.
Parmish has a has Believe tattoo on the right bicep, sukman tattoo on the left forearm, PARAM-SAT tattoo on his back, and ”and miles to go before I sleep” tattoo on his left midriff.
In 2020, he came out with the song ”Diamond Da Challa” featuring Neha Kakkar which was released on the Desi Music Factory channel.
Controversies
Parmish Verma got into a verbal spat with the self-assigned preacher of Sikhism, Gurjant Singh, after Gurjant criticized him for commenting positively on a music video featuring a dancing girl. Gurjant then started commenting on his work, religion, and background. After this, Parmish Verma gave a befitting reply to him.
On 13 April 2018, Parmish, along with his friend Laadi, were chased and shot by some unknown attackers at around 12:30 am in sector 91, Mohali. The duo suffered minor injuries and was rushed to Fortis Hospital. While the police were still investigating the case, gangster, Dilpreet Singh Dhahan took responsibility for the attack by making a post on his Facebook account. On 15 April 2018, Dhahan was arrested by the Haryana Police from the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
