Rashmeet Kaur is an Indian singer-songwriter. She was born in Punjab on 08 March 1994 and was raised in Delhi and is currently staying in Mumbai. Her height is about 5′ 5”. She completed her graduation from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi in Classical Music.

Rashmeet began her musical journey when her mother started giving her Gurmat sangeet (religious Sikh) and harmonium lessons at the age of 6.
Later, she started taking formal music training from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Delhi & Gurmat Sangeet training from her teacher Jasvinder Kaur.
Her eminence in music earned her the opportunity to perform for the former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Rashmeet participated in ”Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” (2012) and was one of the top 40 contestants.
She was among the top 10 contestants in PTC Punjabi’s ”Voice of Punjab” Season 4, National Winner in a classical singing competition 2010, and Winner of IIT Delhi classical competition.
She gained immense recognition for appearing as a contestant in ”Asia’s singing superstar” (2015). In the show, she rocked the stage with her extraordinary performance of the Punjabi folk song “Jugni Ji,” which went viral on the internet.
She gave her voice in the Bollywood film Phillauri (2017) for the song “Heer.”
In 2017, she was awarded for “Upcoming Female Voice of the year” at Mirchi Music Awards for Bangla.
Her first original song ”Maati ki Gudiya” was released in the year 2018 and the song was an initiative to raise awareness on Child Marriages happening in India.
In 2018, Rashmeet Kaur became the 1st ever winner of ”The Remix”- Amazon Prime Originals music reality show, performing for judges Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya, and Amit Trivedi.
She rose to prominence with the rendition of the popular Punjabi folk song “Bajre Da Sitta.”
In March 2021, she struck stardom with the song “Nadiyon Paar (Let the Music Play),” based on the 2004 party song Let the music play by Shamur.
