Wamiqa made her first acting debut in the 2007 Bollywood film ‘Jab We Met’ in which she played the role of a supporting actress.
Later, she gave her first female lead role as Tanisha in the Hindi movie ‘Sixteen’ (2013) and in the Telugu film ‘Bhale Manchi Roju’ (2015).
In 2013, she entered the Punjab film industry with ”Tu Mera 22 Mai Tera 22” movie with co-stars Amrinder Gill and Yo Yo Honey Singh.
