Rupan Bal is an Indian-Canadian YouTuber, Actor, Comedian, and Director. He became famous for his comedic roles in youtube videos along with Jus Reign. He made his first debut in the 2013 Punjabi movie ”Hanni” and later in 22g Tussi Ghaint Ho (2015). After that, he started working as a video director and worked with famous artists like Karan Aujla, Bohemia, Babbu Maan, and more.
Personal Life
Rupan Bal was born on 26 January 1990 and his birthplace is Amritsar, Punjab, India.
He did his schooling at Spring Dale School, Amritsar, but later his family moved to Canada when he was in grade 10.
After that, he did his schooling at Turner Fenton Sec. School, Brampton, and completed his graduation from the University of Guelph, Ontario in Criminology.
In Dec 2019, he was married to Jasmine Bhangoo Bal.
Career
While attending the University of Guelph, Bal met Jus Reign, a Canadian youtube who invited him to be in one of his YouTube videos.
The first video was ”A-1 Shopping Cart Driving School,” where Bal appeared in character as Jus Reign’s fictional mother.
Jus Reign was impressed by Bal and invited him for a larger role in another video Desi Parents.
After two years of creating YouTube videos, he was enjoying his work and also earning money from his videos.
He got a phone call from Punjabi music legend and actor Harbhajan Mann, who offered him a role in his Punjabi film but Bal thought he was being pranked and didn’t take it seriously.
In 2013, he debut his first Punjabi movie ”Haani” along with co-star Harbhajan Mann and Sarbjit Cheema.
In 2015, he worked in a Punjabi movie ”22g Tussi Ghaint Ho” along with Jus Reign and Bhagwant Mann. The movie was also co-produced by Rupan Bal.
On Jun 30, 2016, he came out a song ‘Yen Euro Dollar’ along with Sumit & Jay Gautham. The song was released on RupanBal channel.
In 2017, he came out with a song ‘Hatdi Ni Tu‘, which came out from Diljit Dosanjh comment on Kylie Jenner.
After that, he started working as a video director in the Punjabi music industry and owns Rupan Bal Films company.
He has made videos of famous artists such as Karan Aujla, Deep Jandu, Bohemia, Mankirt Aulakh, Babbu Maan, Jazzy B, and more.
