Jagjeet Sandhu is a Punjabi Actor and Theatre artist who works in Punjabi and Hindi cinema. He was born on 08 June 1991 and his birthplace is Village Himmatgarh Chhanna, Amloh, Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab, India. His height is about 5′ 10”. He completed his schooling at Himmatgarh Chhanna Government School, Fatehgarh Sahib, and graduate from Panjab University, Chandigarh in M.A. (Theater).

At every young age, Jagjeet started doing theatre with neighboring groups and later enrolled in a production company.
He performed in numerous plays in villages for which he would receive Rs 50 each, an amount quite pleasing to him at that age.
After that, he pursued M.A. in Theatre from Punjab University and thereafter joined Padma Shri Neelam Mann Singh’s theater group ‘The Company Theater.’
During college, he performed at various Youth Festivals where he was awarded Best Actor accolades.
In 2015, Jagjeet got his first breakthrough in the Punjabi movie ”Rupinder Gandhi – The Gangster” in which his role as Bhola, whichwas loved by audiences across the world.
Later, he got the role of Speed in my second film ”Qissa Panjab” brought him critical acclaim as well as international recognition.
Jagjeet has also worked in the Canadian drama film ”Anatomy of Violence” which was directed by Toronto-based filmmaker Deepa Mehta and premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival.
Anatomy of Violence movie explores the root causes leading up to the 2012 Delhi gang-rape incident, including the rigidity of India’s caste system, poverty, and social values.
He was nominated for the ”Best Comic Role” from the movie Rupinder Gandhi 2 at PTC Punjabi Flim Awards 2018.
In 2019, he made his debut as a lead actor in the film ”Unni Ikki” along with Sawan Rupowali.
In 2019, he played the character of Rakesh in the Netflix streaming series ”Leila” along with Huma Qureshi and later played the character of Tope Singh in the Prime Video streaming series ”Paatal Lok”(2020).
